Today Gov. Brownback and KDOT Sec. Mike King are on a tour around the state to announce the 2013 preliminary engineering projects. Included in the tour was a stop at the Pittsburg Municipal Airport this morning to announce preliminary engineering work will begin this year on two important SEK highway improvements – modernization of K68 from Pomona to Ottawa and four lane expansion of highway 69 from US166/US400 in Cherokee Co. to the Crawford Co. line.
